It has always amazed us here at Inksmith Printing how quickly the weather changes in the San Francisco Bay Area. One day it is bright and sunny. The warm rays of the sun gently bathing your face as the crystal blue sky speaks of uncapped horizons of an ever successful future. It is the feeling of being blessed in California. Then, without warning, the temperature drops, the sun pulls away and a chill you feel in your bones creeps in. It is the beginning of winter.
Holidays are coming where the rush, anxiety, family disputes and overall hum-bugginess appears daily. These symptoms seem to be the outward expression of the dark winter that is setting in. While we like a good egg nog, especially warm, we are reminded that there are those in need all year round. There are families whose hunger never stops. It is a passenger with them every day of the year. A passenger whose impact on their health will last for generations.
So, instead of complaining about it and saying something like, “Hey! Why doesn’t someone do something about it?” Inksmith Printing is going to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank and we ask that you do the same.
One dollar. Ten dollars. One hundred dollars. Whatever you want to give will help feed those in need.
